Home & Community Based Services
Purposeful Parenting provides home and community-based services for families involved with the Indiana Child Welfare System or Indiana Juvenile Probation. To refer a family for one of these services send a referral to Purposeful Parenting LLC for the requested services.
Parent Education
Our parent education program offers parenting skills development in small group and individual format. Our program teaches effective behavior management, communication, discipline, child development, parenting through the challenging teen years and other topics families are dealing with today. We have age specific programs to help parents of young children, school age children and teens. This service begins with an assessment that allows us to tailor the program to the specific needs of each family.
Parenting Assessment
Our parenting assessment program provides families with a thorough evaluation to identify the family's strengths and needs. Families participating in this service are provided with a report that will provide information on what is needed to improve the family's functioning.
Home-Base Casework
Our home-based casework program helps parents create and maintain a safe, stable home environment that promotes the wellbeing of their children. This service is effective in reducing maltreatment, improving caretaking, and coping skills, enhancing family resilience, supporting healthy and nurturing relationships, and children's physical, mental, emotional, and educational wellbeing. We strive to give the parent's tools they need to be successful and prevent reinvolvement with child welfare services after their current case closes.
Resource Family Support Service
Being a placement caregiver has its rewards and challenges. Our resource family support service provides support to foster care or relative placement. We support these care givers with behavior management, connecting to community resources, family communication and much more.
